  • June 2022: I'll be joining the wonderful team at Volta Music Foundation! So excited to be a part of their mission to bridge gaps in opportunity & resources in classical music.

  • November 2021: I taught my first workshop for Youth Chamber Connection! We talked about communicating our values through publicity.

  • March 15th, 2021: It's been a year since I published my website! While this didn't lead to the freelance career I imagined, I am full of gratitude for a year of creative challenges & growth. Here's a review of projects on my blog.

  • March 8th, 2021: I will be speaking & performing at Pittsburgh's Women to Women Toastmasters event, "Women Who Inspire." Thanks to Melissa Collins for inviting me!

  • January 2021: My community on Patreon has grown to 20 people! Thank you all so much for your generous support of my creative work.

  • December 2020: My chamber group Ears Engaged presented our final, interactive virtual concert of the year!  We'll be back next month :)

  • November 7th, 2020: I will be collaborating with the wonderful Leah Stevens to perform "Around the Fire," a 30-minute, continuous program of flute, alto flute, electronics, & storytelling. Thanks to Monique Mead for this opportunity! 

  • October 2020: My Patreon is live! If you are interested in supporting my work, that would mean the world to me :)

  • September 2020: As part of the Iris Music Project, my chamber ensemble Ears Engaged is beginning a fall residency at Weinberg Terrace, a senior home in Pittsburgh! We will create virtual, interactive musical experiences for the residents.

  • July 2020: I performed in an outdoor concert to raise money for sheet music & books for underserved youth in Pittsburgh. Thank you to the audience for their incredible generosity, and to Monique Mead for the invitation!

  • April 2020: I received a fellowship from the STUDIO for Creative Inquiry, Residency-in-your-Room! I will create a film-version of Poems in Practice Rooms.

  • May 6th, 2020: I will present my BXA capstone project, "Magsalin: Translating Diaspora from Memory to Expression," at Carnegie Mellon University's annual Meeting of the Minds.

  • April 15th, 2020: My senior flute recital is at Alumni Concert Hall at 7:30pm. I am thrilled to be preparing so much gorgeous & rarely-performed music! Free admission with reception to follow.

  • March 5th, 2020: Ears Engaged is performing music from around the world at the Pittsburgh International Airport. Catch us between your flights from 11:30am-1:30pm!
